Holiday with kids 6 & 9

We%26#39;re staying in Zell am See last 2 weeks in August this year. Any suggestions of what to do / see would be welcome.

Also is there a summer bob sleigh ride for kids anywhere near?

Any good cycle routes?

Any local festival celebrations?

There%26#39;s a summer tobogganing ride in St Johann which is about 40mins away by train from Zell am See.

There is a Summer Rodelbahn (bobsleigh) in Saalfelden - this is c. 15km from Zell or say 20 mins.

Re cycle routes - as previous reply said there is a route all round the lake which is great - if you go clockwise from the town you go through a wooded area which is a campsite, and reach the first village shortly after - there is a lovely cafe right on the lakeside which is great for lunch. Further round is another cafe, then continue to close the circle back to Zell. The freeies stop at various points round the lake but I don%26#39;t know whether you can take bikes on them.

Forgot to say - a lovely and easy walk is to go up the mountain in the main cable car to the top station. Cafe there for drinks. You can then walk down a well made path (kids of all ages were doing it) to the next level, then down on a chair lift, then to the bottom in another small cable car. Scenery was fantastic.
