Tickets for Marionettentheater

Hi, I%26#39;ll be visiting Salzbug in 31.7.2008,

and would like to see a show in Marionettentheater.

I found the Nutcracker at 17:00.

From you experience, is it necessary to make a pre-reservation for tickets,

or it is fine to buy just before the performance?

Hello, we bought tickets a day or so before, from the box office at the theatre. Even so the theatre was not full. At the end of the month Salzburg will be ready for the festival and the city will be more crowded so you could book on line if you wanted to:

marionetten.at/marionetten/…shop_karten

The theatre is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the performance (the Magic Flute) that we saw there.

Since, I even bought tickets for a concert in the festival...

You are right. At this time it would be much difficult to find tickets.

I will book on-line !!!
