Depends what transport you use to the airport. It%26#39;s not valid on the Bus or CAT. If you use the S bahn it gets you from/to the city boundary, but you need a supplementary ticket for the section from the city boundary to the airport. This costs €1.70 each way. You can buy these tickets and the 72 hour card from the machines at the airport near to the train platforms.
