Restaurant Needed near Hilton Stadtpark on a Sunday Evening

Hello,

My husband and I will be arriving in Vienna from Prague on a Sunday evening (our train is scheduled to arrive at 6 p.m.). We are staying at the Hilton Stadtpark. Since many restaurants are customarily closed on Sunday, we are in need of restaurant recommendations within walking distance of our hotel if possible.

Thank you,

You correctly point out that numerous better city center restaurants are closed on Sundays - but enough open to allow good dining

the following withinless than a 10 minute easy walk from the Hilton.

Both places across the Ringstrasse towrd city center.

Plachutta

Wollzeile 38

This family has several restaurants in Vienna- all with good quality

Easy to find from the hotel as no turns are needed

Wollziele can be found dirctly across the Ringstrasse - then just a short walk to the restaurant on the left side - excelent menu .

Open daily until about 11PM.

Pürstner

Riemergasse 10

also an easy walk - map on the website - austrian specialties

fair price and good portions - I have often recommeneded this place here and most who have dined there enjoyed it.
