I was considering going hiking for the day around Innsbruck on July 19, but am clueless on what to do. Do I take a bus to some trails somewhere?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

many hiking possibilities- one nice trip take public transport to the village of Igls - just above Innsbruck - begin a hike from there or perhaps better take the cable car up the Patscherkofel mountain- home to the famous downhill ski run.
Nice hiking above and then back to Igls - great views too.
When in Innsbruck stop in the tourist office they will certainly have good info and most probably maps too.
