Do I need reservation for Prague - Vienna Train

Hi

We have Eastern Europe pass, do we need reservation for Prague - Vienna train (July 22nd %26amp; First class). Should I buy the reservation now in the US or wait till I get in Vienna (July 17th). Heard prices are much cheaper in Prague.

How do you get from Vienna to Prague?

Buy the reservation before departure in Prague. As you will take 1st class, there is absolutely no need to do that earlier.

I%26#39;m going from Prague to Vienna around 10 am July 22nd. I have an Eastern Europe Pass. Do I really need a reservation for this trip? I wasd told for the fast the train I need reservation. Don%26#39;t know which one is the fast train!.

The faster train which takes 4 hours instead of 4h30min requires seat reservation regardless of the type of use entitlement.

The trains with code SP (Super City) are the Czech tilting trains (Pendolino) with mandatory seat reservation which can be bought just before departure or a the day before if you wanna have guarantee. No need to do that far in advance!
