Hi
I am planning a Europe vacation for 15 days in June -July. Unfortunately, both the current itinerary options we have worked out, brings us to Vienna during the Euro 2008 match dates. It could either be 21-23 June or else 27-29 June.
Earlier, I was not planning to advance book the hotels/apartments/hostels but now it may be a must-do.
I am looking for guidance on whether or not we should consider reshuffling our itineraries. In case don’t, should we book rooms in advance, will we still manage to get a value-for-money, clean %26amp; centrally located accomodation once we arrive. Not really sure how much we should be budgeting for these dates, but 75 euros room for a couple stay would be great!
Appreciate your advice %26amp; ideas.
Many thanks in advance!

I personally would firmly book an accomodation to have an assurance. Furthemore, I have never travelled to a (large) city without any reservation as I don%26#39;t wanna wander around to find one.
I%26#39;d suggest to investigate the accomodation situation and if you don%26#39;t find anything that is affordable, reshuffle your itinerary. But I am convinced that you will find a decent room - probably not too central but still conveniently located.

For months people have been struggling to find good rooms during the championships.
You can search for a room on TripAdvisor or use the Vienna tourist board site:

or for more budget choices try:

Good luck!
