Brixen im Thale Restaurants

Hi,

I hope someone on this forum can make a good recommendation. We will be staying in a small penzion located on the main street going through Brixen. The penzion has no restaurant, and the last time we were there the penzion / restaurant across the street refused to serve dinner to anyone but their own renters.

So we walked to the nearest restaurant and were not impressed with the food. I am looking for a restaurant which is reasonably priced, not touristy. A small family run place where they serve simple, freshly made food without a fancy atmosphere or price.

Brixen is about 100 km west of Innsbruck.

My experiences with restaurants in Austria have been positive 99 percent of the time. So I am sure that there are some really good restaurants in Brixen. I just don%26#39;t know where.

Thanks for the info. I%26#39;ve printed off the list of restaurants on the website.

But if someone who maybe lives in the area and knows the town can recommend one or more of the places listed on the website, or maybe some that are not listed at all, I would appreciate it.
