We%26#39;re off to St Wolfgang in July. We like walking, but preferably on the flat or downhill! We prefer walks to a max of 8 miles. We%26#39;ll buy a walking guide when we arrrive, but any suggestions of walks not to be missed?

Hi there, we were in St Wolfgang last June and the best %26#39;flatish%26#39; walk I can recommend is the Pilgrims walk from SW to St Gilgin. Only one uphill I can recall but quite short and well worth the climb to the church in the forest. Visit the Furberg restaurant on the way, lovely food and setting on the lake shore. I think the walk might be just more than 8 miles but you can rest up in St Gilgen and take the launch back home. One other thing on the walk, the lakeshore path just after the Furberg hotel was blocked off due to a supposed landslide but as others were hopping over the %26#39;barrier%26#39; we did the same and the path was absolutely clear. I will try to post some photos on tripadvisor of this walk(not a very good techie with computers sorry) . Have a lovely holiday
