Hi there, I%26#39;ve been austria many times and i go to Seefeld again with my boyfriend in June. Except for this time we are going with Crystal Holidays - all the other times i have gone with my parents via car.
I%26#39;ve done some research and have been unsucessfull in finding out if there are any excurions (ie bus journeys) going from Seefeld and/or Innsbruck to the Krimml Waterfalls.
I%26#39;d rather book from a tourist office than through my tour operator (as they are costly). So i was wondering if anyone out there is any information of if such an excursion from Seefeld exists, and a website etc etc.
Thanks!

I would be amazed if Crystal didnt do an excursion to Krimml, be it a half day or a full day trip, and everytime I have been, Krimml has always been on the list
If they dont do an excursion, then there is a large tourist office in Seefeld as well as 2 or 3 tourist operators who offer tours around the area and further afield too, so am sure you will manage to get to the waterfalls

Ok thanks, the main point of this post was that i didnt want to go through crystal because they are expensive and im only a poor student! :)
Should i just go to the tourist office in Seefeld and ask then? Any idea on prices?

Too be honest, I dont think you will save too much by doing it through the tourist board on your own or through another agent
The thing Crystal, Thompson, Inghams etc have in their favour is their buying power, and they can buy these trips in bulk at a cheaper price

Hi,
There is no need for a tour operator, go to the Austrian train %26amp;/or bus website and input your place of departure and destination, there is a train station close by and bus links directly to the falls + a bit of a walk. We were there last year, fantastic place!!!
Some of these links might help:

Thanks to you all,
i found out some prices in the end, but its not really relevent anymore as ive been given some spending money as a birthday present :D
So now its more a case in finding fun things to do!

Crystal do run a trip to Krimml, the tourist office usually don%26#39;t. Postbuses and trains are great for getting to some places, but Krimml would be an absolute nightmare with public transport! I would say Crystal%26#39;s trips from Seefeld are usually very reasonably priced..
Have a great time!

Ok, Yep I%26#39;m going to ask the crystal rep when we get there to book us an excursion to krimmel and maybe Neuschwanstein castle as well. I think they are something like £22 per person.
Shame the whole week looks like rain :( Austrias unpredictable like that..
