Accommodation near Erdbergstrasse , P&R Centre

My wife and I will be catching the Vienna to Bratislava Airport Shuttle early in the morning and want to stay somehere close, hopefully within walking distance. The location where we catch the shuttle is Erdbergstrasse 202, directly in front of the Underground station U3-Erdberg, P%26amp;R centre.

Looking for a good hotel or pension, something nice.

Hope someone can assist.

Just an observation - the Bratislava airport bus starts from Südtiroler Platz which is near the Sudbahnhof main station so you may have more choice of hotels/pensions in that area.

Thanks for the reply Norman.

It looks like as you are the only one to reply there isn%26#39;t any accommodation close by the P%26amp;amp;R centre.

Concerning where the shuttle starts from, I have booked the shuttle and flight with Sky Europe and the confirmation I got back had the Erdberg address as the only departure point for Vienna.

Maybe you are on a dedicated Sky Europe shuttle. Erdberg%26#39;s not an area of Vienna I know well and I%26#39;ve certainly no personal knowledge of any hotels in the area, but I can%26#39;t say there are none at all. But as you mention in your post you are at a station on the U3 which can take you in 10 minutes to the very heart of Vienna and open up much more choice.

I%26#39;ve had a bit of a delve and this hotel is perhaps a 5 to 10 minute walk along Erbergstrasse from your drop off point:

It gets reasonable reviews on TripAdvisor.

What about this premises at Franzosengraben?

Is a very cheap one but has got relatively good evaluations as there is no room service and other stuff. Rooms should be okay!

Thanks Norman and Mikey

That gives us a couple of options to consider and both are close to where we have to catch the shuttle.

The one that Mikey suggested is similar to a type we have here in Australia called %26quot;Formula One%26quot; and they are quite basic but do suit a purpose.
