Help needed!

I will be travelling to certain parts of Austria, Switzerland and Germany in early July 08, hence not too sure where to post this!

I need help on my itinerary, as there are just SO, SO MANY things/ areas that I want to see, but it is just not possible in the short time of 4D3N!

Background

I have been to other parts of Switzerland (main cities and Interlaken area) during my previous trip and this time, I will visit Engadin region, i.e. take a Bernina Express until Poschiavo, backtrack and then stay overnight in Pontresina/ St. Moritz for some mountain panorama view before my trip to Salzburg.

Objective:

An itinerary for 4 full days, which must include:

1. the last day in Munich, as I need to catch an international flight from Munich airport at 9pm and of course for city orientation tour.

2. Salzburg must see attractions

3. Eagle%26#39;s Nest at Berchtesgaden

4. Ice Caves at Werfen

Questions:

1. Is Koenigsee, Wolfgangsee and Herrenchiemsee Castle and Hohen Werfen worth visiting? What can I expect from each of these attractions?

2. What are the must see attractions in Salzburg?

3. What are the must see attractions in Munich for 1 full day?

4. Is there a nearby village within this area that is worth visiting via public transport?

5. Any other recommendation that I should include in my itinerary?

ad 1) Well, Wolfgangsee itself and the surrounding region is very nice. If you like seeing and enjoying nature and water I%26#39;d do it.

ad 2)Most attractions are in the old part of Salzburg including Getreidegasse, birthplace of W.A. Mozart and the fortress (Festung Hohensalzburg).

ad 3) Please ask the Munich forum for more detailed and experienced advice.

ad 4) I would go to Hallstatt, the UNESCO-protected village by Lake Hallstatt, but actually it is not really nearby. Approximately two hours by public transport. http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/en

ad 5) As your timeframe is very limited I would not focus on other places or attractions.
