Hi, I am going to see a concert at Kursalon Vienna in 2 weeks.
Is it necessary to make a pre-reservation for tickets,
or just going to the ticket box at the same evening is enough?

In this case I would make a reservation, although I don%26#39;t know wether it is really necessary. But a concert is not train travel, so I suggest to do it.

I guess I%26#39;ll do it !

The Kursalon is just one of many tourist oriented concerts held nightly in Vienna.
No real need to reserve as you may find something other thatone more to your likeing and then you already have your ticket and can not change.
Look and listen carefully if you are approached by a concert ticket seller in period costume and wig. They are frequently found near to major tourist sights- if you wish a ticket - price can be negoiated especially the day of the concert. Or best - go direct to the venue and get your ticket - with so many offerings you can usually find something the same day.
for a complete list of concerts and events go the the tourist website
www.wien.info.at
click on events - then insert dates of your visit - all things will appear - a large choice as you will see.

Thanks, vertical.
But the special thing I liked in Kursalon, and didn%26#39;t find in any other Vienna%26#39;s concert places, was the waltz dances.
So I prefer to book tickets in advance, for not getting disappointed.
