I have heard the view is fantastic...is there a better side of the train to sit on to enjoy this beauty? Do all seats face forward? I am not one who travels well facing backward. Thanks so much for your kind replies!

The view is indeed fantastic but you cannot define one entirely exciting side to seat. Seats are normally mixed, so there is always a number of seats facing forward.
