Discovered you can go back after many years absence.....

We got back from our trip (4 weeks traveling through Europe) and were lucky enough to fit in 3 nights in Salzburg. It was just as lovely as i remembered so many years ago. It hasn%26#39;t changed too much... We will be going back and try and do it when the city isn%26#39;t setting up for a World Cup or Euro game... My son loved the crazy%26#39;s

So glad you had such a great time, Lissa!

Yes, the city was a little crazy with the football there but essentially it was just as lovely. We had lovely quiet walks on the Monchsberg when you wouldn%26#39;t even know the hundreds of fans were there. Most were very respectful and seemed to love the city. We saw no trouble at all.

We%26#39;re going back in a few weeks and I can hardly wait.
