Hotel area Schoenbrunn or Prater/Messa

We are making reservations for atwo nigths/3days in Vienna and would like some imput in the diferences of the two areas. Does one has more rest/atrac/subway/trains then the other? Look like Subway is close to either one. We are going to Prage after that.

Thank you!

It will be our first time there and we are not sure what area to choose.

%26quot;Prater/Messe%26quot; is in the neighborhood of the Vienna Convention Center and the famous amusement park %26quot;Prater%26quot;. Since May 2008 subway line U2 serves this area with final stop in front of Austria%26#39;s largest stadium. This area is partly a little bit dodgy at night (but safe!) as you sometimes see prostitutes in side streets.

Schönbrunn would be very close to the respective palace with more dining facilties than Messe/Prater. I%26#39;d go for the Schönbrunn area, but much better would be the city centre (1010 Wien).

For more detailed advice you would need to provide any more specfic accommodation data.

Your description could not be more helpfull. Exatally what we need to know. We will stay at the Courtyard Mariott and that why We have these two options. If a futbol game would be playing, We would stay at the Messa because we love the game.

Thank you!
