What is the Swiss House If I may ask?

The Swiss House - Schweizerhaus in german is a famous
place to eat and drink- Just open march- october in the area of the famous Prater . A rumor says they sell more beer here than any other place in Austria.
They are best known for their Stelze - ^(rear knuckle of pork )and Budvar beer .
A great and large garden and also in door dining for bad weather days.
A really fun place to relax and enjoy !
Good potato puffers too.

Great location and atmosphere although you sometimes hear complaints.
Expect very less vacancies on a warm, not too hot evening!

We love the Schweizerhaus! As a visitor I think it is a must for anyone traveling to Vienna. We plan to spend a long time there again on our next visit just soaking up the atmosphere. Go early to get a table, enjoy many beers and relax. The sausages are great too!
