Train ticket info: Salzburg- Liechtensteinklamm via Werfen

My travel itinerary for one day is as below:

1. Salzburg to Werfen - about 4-5 hrs journey break to visit ice caves

2. Werfen to Liechtensteinklamm (station: St. Johann im Pongau?) to visit the gorge

3. Liechtensteinklamm back to Salzburg by the end of the day

Can I then buy a return train ticket Salzburg- Liechtensteinklamm (station: St. Johann im Pongau?) and break journey in Werfen? How much does it cost? Can I board any type of train or only the RE/ RB/ S Bahn and not the EC train?

Is there a one day, 48hrs or 72hrs pass/ ticket which covers local transportation in Salzburg, and also train to Werfen and Liechtensteinklamm and maybe Berchtesgaden?

Please advise ASAP.

Do you travel alone or with a buddy?

If you are in a group you can buy the EINFACH-RAUS-TICKET of Austrian Railways (abbreviation: ÖBB). This pass allows unlimited rides on all REGIONAL trains in AUSTRIA on a chosen day for a maximum of five passengers for a flat rate of 28€. If not or not interested you need to buy a regular ticket for the different sections. If you travel long distance! I believe it is allowed to stop wherever you want as long as you inform the train atttendant about your intentions. I%26#39;d buy Salzburg - Werfen, Werfen-St. Johann and St. Johann-Salzburg. You would not save any mentionable amount if you bought the places within one ticket. With a normal ticket you may also take the EC.
