Does anyone know where you can rent a skidoo. I will be staying in Seefeld and there isn%26#39;t one there (that I know of). I have been told that there is a place in Mayrhofen (an hour and a half away), but I would like to try to find out if that is the nearest one to Seefeld and if so, what is the name of the company that rents them. We wanted to drive somewhere just so that the kids could have a go on a %26#39;skidoo%26#39;.
As it will be Christmas time when we go, I need to make sure that we book in advance rather than drive for an hour and a half and then find out that it is full! Any help will be appreciated!
On the same point, does anyone know where can you go snowtubing?

No snowmobile rentals that I know about in or near to Mayrhofen or Seefeld.
Most places forbid them as they are noisy , dangerous, causing potential liability troubles, not good for environment including running over small trees etc.
In Mayrhofen, perhaps someone saw one that may be used by mountain rescue group or lift company for emergenciesand assumed it was for rent.
You can find numerous locations in and near Seefeld to rent tobaggans - rodels - most enjoy this and everyone can do it.

Thanks, Vertical. That is a good point about the environmental impact....a bit naive of me not to think about that. No worries, my kids can content themselves with plenty of other snow activities. By the way, I think you gave me advice the first time I went to Seefeld (your name seems familiar)....and thanks, because it was great and we are going again.
