Would it be mad to consider skiing as late as the first week of the easter holidays next year, i.e. 4 - 11 April? Or, in somewhere like Kaprun, is it always possible to ski in the glacier?

Hi Liz, no it wouldn%26#39;t be mad as long as you go somehwere with some height. May also be worth taking a look at Zauchensee and Obertauern - no glacier (which I dislike anyway) but higher resorts and the skiing (almost) always last till mid April and beyond. In recent years, late season sking has been pretty good. We ski every year in Ski Amade (Flachau, Zauchensee) and they have loads of snow machines too and resorts are saying they will be open till Easter 09.
