Where is the best place?

To go sledging in Seefeld? We hired sledges earlier this year but out of the few places we chose to use them we were told it was not allowed ,are there special allocated places to use them?

The area you mention is off to the left side of the road leading down to Innsbruck in the town of Reith. I think the street name is Romerstrasse. This is perhaps 5-10 minutes from seefeld by car.

In the area of Leutasch Valley with the little villages of weidach, klamm,etc.numerous places to go - a short ride north of seefeld- I think a bus perhaps # 4186 goes that way- signs from the center of seefeld will point toward Leutasch-

some tobagganing areas-

such places as Hammermoosalm by Obenleutasch-

the area going toward the Rauthütte near to the Munda lift .

The area by the Kreith lift has facilities for night rodeln ( tobagganning ) I think Tuesdays , Thusdays and Saturdays.

I believe hotels often arrange parties for these fun excursions too or check with the tourist office.

I would think for certain some organized arrangements exist if you do not wish to do this on your own.
