Last year, my husband and I flew on a very cheap flight from Malaga, Spain to Madrid. I am hoping, even thoought the oil prices are up, that we can find a cheap flight to Krakow from Vienna. Is anyone there acquainted with such a carrier? Thanks.

I think the only carrier from Vienna to Krakow is LOT. Their website is:
http://www.lot.com/default.aspx?_lang=en
from which you can check your dates and get prices.

I believe Air Austria or Austrain Air also flys that route. I don%26#39;t know which is cheaper btw this airline and LOT.

Not sure if these aren%26#39;t codeshare flights with both Auatrian Airlines and LOT providing the aircraft. You could check prices on both websites. The Austrian Airlines US site is:
http://www.aua.com/us/eng

I believe that Norman is correct.
The Krakow flights are code shares with Lot Polish and the Austrian Arrows ( formerly Tyrolean Air ) mostly aircrafts are relatively small prop jets.
The airline you fly will depend on departure time.Normally the austrian website will indicate the carrier on their website.
Austrian has a less expensive ticket offer - %26quot; Red Ticket %26quot; less expensive than normal economy but non refundable.

Sky Europe flew to Krakow but discontinued their flights some months ago. Try to get a reasonable flight on OS by booking well in advance or take the train whose regular fares are usually cheaper and more flexible.

Thank you for the information. I have looked online and did not find any real discounted flights. I guess because of the oil prices, everything, everywhere has gone up. I will keep looking. Or does anyone suggest taking the bus to Krakow from Vienna? How many hours is it and price?
