A good meeting place?

Hello,

I%26#39;m meeting up with my friend in Salzburg and wondering where would be the good place or recognizable place to meet her at. She%26#39;s coming from some town that is about 1.5hr away from Salzburg. I would like to avoid the hotel to meet her since I want to start sightseeing earlier in the morning.... hoping to meet her between my sightseeing so i wouldnt loose some hours.

I%26#39;ll appreciate any advices :)

Why not the Mozart statue in Mozart Platz? Very easy to find and also right by the Tourist information office.

Also:

Residenzplatz at the Fountain. Right in the middle of it, and dates back to 1600 ..... good place to start your tour.

I%26#39;m sure I%26#39;d be able to meet my friend right on time! :)

I couldn%26#39;t tell how recognizable all these major sightseeing places would be just by looking on the net since I%26#39;ve never been there yet. Sometimes it%26#39;s not as much as you think even they%26#39;re very famous.
