We (2) are travelling from Budapest to Vienna in July and are debating whether to take the Hydrofoil or the train. It looks like the hydrofoil takes longer, but that is not really a concern. Any other comments/experiences would be appreciated.

The hydrofoil is much slower and more expensive than the train.
The scenery is really not very exciting.
I would think your time and money is better utilized in Budapest or Vienna.
