Renting a place in Vienna

Hello to everybody,

I have a couple of questions. In July I plan to attend german learning course wich lasts for two months.

How hard is to find an apartment for only two months?

My gravitation point would be around Karlsplatz so I think I could rent an apartment everywhere as long as it%26#39;s close to the U-bahn.

Are there any neighbourhoods I should avoid?

I found a couple of websites listing apartments for rent, which are the best?

Prices, the 1. Bezirk is the most expensive so that is out of question, what could be the price of a normal 1 room apartment near the U-bahn station. I have seen the prices listen on web, but I haven%26#39;t seen the apartmenta, so if you could help me with some basic price.

And the final question, since I%26#39;m limited with time should I better contact agencies than trying to find it myself?

It%26#39;s a lot of questions, but I%26#39;m not very farmiliar with these things so if you could answer any of these I would be thankful.

Thank you for your answers, that all for now.

Regards

Julio

If you rent a 60m² apartment (long-term) it would cost between 450-650€/month depending on location and equipment. Top neighborhoods excluded! For short-time increase the amount stated.

I%26#39;d suggest to contact a student accomodation agency because their rooms should be vacant in summer.

Or what about a private room to learn German even faster?

Good luck!

Karlsplatz is in easy reach by public transport

so you can also look for flats in

the next district 3, 4, 5th
