scenic train route

I am travelling eurostar from Vienna to Prague. Is this a scenic route, pretty villages, any alps , what would I see along the way, thank you.

No, it is not scenic at all - the scenery is very flat there.

That%26#39;s a pity, I was hoping to at least see something interesting. Villages, farms, anything.

Will you go any further than Vienna?

Scenic train rides are from Vienna to Graz, Graz to Salzburg and Salzburg to Innsbruck.

Of course you will see wheat fields and villages along the rail track, but it is nothing special in our opinion or particularly mentionable. But as already informed it is a very flat landscape.

I personally like train travel as you can watch the landscape passing by regardless of any exciting background. And finally it is more interesting than motorways.

Hi Mikey, Villages and fields sound good. Here in Australia we can travel for thousands of kilometers and see nothing but gum trees and an isolated farm house, always a dead kangaroo or dead wildlife along the way. Boring beyond belief when travelling hour after hour. I%26#39;ve travelled by train through some breathtaking European scenery and loved it but not on this particular route and I will be happy with anything, train travel is a highlight of my trip for sure. Thanks.
