I need some suggestions on the best way to get from Sudbahnhof to our accomodation-Stadtnest B%26amp;B on Stumpergasse(near Westbahnhof). I have read that you can take tram 18 but how will we go with our luggage? We will have 8 weeks worth with us! Would it be better(easier) to get a taxi? If so does anyone have an idea of the likely cost?

With 8 weeks of luggage , I would take a taxi.
Taxis are just in front of the train station- accurate meters to provide a fair price - 10 12 euro perhaps.
Yes, the #18 does go from the Sudbahnhof to the westbahnhof .
About 3 ateps to get into it if it is the older type.
Not too easy with luggage - if you wish to try it - probably best to use the last doorway of the car- more open area to store stuff.
But the pension is not directly at the Westbahnhof - a fair walk , especially hauling luggage.
And you must climb 3 floors to the rooms - no elevator.

Cheers Vertical-I think taxi it is! Of course 8 weeks of luggage should be no more than 2 weeks of luggage, but you know how it is!
