I am trying to get reservation on my train journey from Prague to Salzburg and from Salzburg to Lauterbrunnen. We are going to some other places in Germany and were able to book all the Euro train journey through the bahn.de website with special europe fair. But we were not able to get the ticket for this leg of our journey from Salz to Lau and Prague to Salz. Can you please tell me if there is any website that I can get special fare and how much is that. Also if I do not get any special fare for advance purchase, then how much do I have to pay for regular ticket.

International ticket purchase and fare inquiry via internet is only possible for a few destinations and between Austria and Germany/Switzerland.
For Salzburg %26gt; Lauterbrunnen go to the website of ÖBB which is only German but logically designed. AT least you will have a price for your journey.

I would do the ticket purchase after arrival in Salzburg as online purchase is neither necessary nor recommendable. Trains in Austria and to most neighboring countries don%26#39;t need a seat reservation!

You can buy your tickets (or if wanted seat reservations) just before you go or a day in advance... no need to book early.
