Transport from Vienna to Lofer

Can someone please tell me how what the easiest way of getting from Vienna to Lofer with public transport.

We will arrive august 18th 12.35pm at Vienna Int

From the airport take the Airport Bus to Railway Station West - there you can board a westbound train according to your chosen itinerary.

Prepare for a long journey!

However the webpage you gave doesn%26#39;t seem to give an estimated price of the journey from the airport to Lofer. Do you have any idea how much it will cost and will it be cheaper if we bought a return ticket at the same time?

All price per person:

Airport Bus to Railway Station: 6€

Train from Wien to Salzburg: 37€

(not including a group discount)

Salzburg to Lofer is not displayable as you need to take a regional bus, which have their own fare system. Perhaps www.postbus.at eases the confusion.

I would calculate approximately 50€/adult.

I am sorry as I made a mistake

The rail fare from Wien to Salzburg has increased to 44€ in the meantime. ÖBB regularly does that!
