Try this website of Austrian Railways including complete city traffic.

http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/en

There is not only one possible connection:

I%26#39;d suggest the following route:

1)Airport Train Line (S2) to %26#39;Praterstern-Wien Nord%26#39;

(Vienna Card is applicable for the PART of the trip that takes place withing the city limits %26gt; only purchase a supplement totalling 1.70€)

2)Subway Line U2 (purple one) to Schottentor-Universität

3)Tram line #43 to Skodagasse (approx. 2-3 stops)

Appreciate your help Mikey.

Hi Mikey,

After reading through the post, i realise is much better to purchase the 8 day card. Would the route fr. the airport to pension baltic be the same?

Do we still need to buy the supplementary ticket?

Thanks for your help.

The 8-day-ticket is only good if you don%26#39;t intend to use public transport daily or have a travel buddy you always be with. The regular weekly pass is 14€.

The way to the hotel is the same as all lines operate in a %26quot;system%26quot; and not independantly.

Yes, you still need the supplement ticket just because of the fact that the airport is not in Vienna.

Greater Vienna is divided into zones each requiring a valid ticket. I have an annual pass for Vienna and need a supplement from the end of the Vienna City Zone to the airport which is located by the town of Schwechat.

Thanks Mikey, appreciate your help.
