Hi,
we will be in Vienna late November and want to get to Budapest by train. We think the sparscheine ticket is a reasonable price only not sure how to get one from Australia. Does any one have any ideas? or is there a better fare?

Call +43 5 1717 to reserve tickets or pay 15€ more and take the regular fare with full flexibilty.
Regulare fare: 34€

Thanks,
Is the fare very inflexible? we fly in 7.30pm and want to get to Budapest the next day, is there a cheap hotel you would recommend close to the train station( whichever that is )

This discounted ticket is tied to a certain train connection, while with regular tickets you may take every train within the general validity period.
(Direct)Trains to Budapest depart and terminate at Vienna%26#39;s Railway Station West, although Budapest is located East of Vienna.
As the areas around train stations aren%26#39;t normally that fancy, you will find a reasoable accomodation. Please use the search button!
