What to do during Euro Finals

We are a senior Australian couple who are locked into staying in Vienna 26 - 29 June, during the Euro finals.

Has anyone any advice what to do, eg what day trips to take and how to see Vienna.

Also we are travelling to Budapest by train on the afternoon of 29 June, by travelling in the afternoon will we avoid the fans and get a seat on the train as we intend to book when we arrive in Vienna.

Thanks
